How do I watch a live stream on Dick.com?

Go to any creator channel page (e.g. dick.com/channelname). If the creator is live you will see a red Live Now badge. Connect your crypto wallet, pay the access fee set by the creator, and the stream unlocks immediately. No account, no signup, and no personal information required. There is also an interactive step-by-step guide — click the ▶ How to Watch button on any channel page for a full walkthrough.

Is there a tutorial that walks me through how to watch?

Yes. Every channel page has a ▶ How to Watch button that opens an interactive step-by-step guide. It walks you through connecting your wallet, making your first payment, and watching a stream — all without leaving the page. You can navigate forward and backward through each step at your own pace.

What wallet do I need to watch a stream?

You need a crypto wallet that supports the Base network and holds USDC. We recommend:
  • MetaMask — the most widely used browser wallet. Install the free extension at metamask.io, switch to Base network, and add USDC.
  • Coinbase Base Wallet — available at wallet.coinbase.com or as a mobile app. Sign in with your email or a passkey — no seed phrase required.
  • Any WalletConnect-compatible wallet — over 300 wallets are supported.

What is USDC and how do I get it?

USDC is a stablecoin — a digital dollar. 1 USDC always equals $1.00 USD. It does not fluctuate in value like Bitcoin. To get USDC on Base network you can:
  • Buy it directly inside MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet using a credit or debit card
  • Transfer USDC from Coinbase exchange to your wallet on Base network
  • Bridge USDC from another network using bridge.base.org

What is Base network?

Base is a fast, low-cost blockchain built by Coinbase on top of Ethereum. Transaction fees on Base are typically less than $0.01. All Dick.com payments happen on Base network. Make sure your wallet is connected to Base — not Ethereum mainnet or another network.

Why does my wallet show a security warning when I pay?

Some wallets including MetaMask may show a security warning for payment authorization requests from newer or lesser-known platforms. Dick.com has been verified by Blockaid — MetaMask's security provider — and is registered as a trusted dApp. If you still see a warning, it is a false positive. Dick.com uses the official x402 payment protocol developed by Coinbase. Your payment goes directly to the creator's wallet. We never have access to your funds. You can safely confirm the transaction.

Do I need to create an account to watch?

No. You only need a crypto wallet. There are no usernames, passwords, email addresses, or personal information required to watch a stream. Your wallet is your identity.

Can I get a refund if I pay but the stream goes offline?

Payments on Dick.com are on-chain blockchain transactions — they are instant and irreversible, like cash. If a stream goes offline unexpectedly after you have paid, contact the creator directly using the contact information on their channel page. Dick.com is not a party to the payment transaction and cannot process refunds.

How long does my paid access last?

Access duration depends on the creator's pricing model, which is displayed on their channel page before you pay. It may be a one-time flat fee for the entire stream, or a per-minute, per-15-minute, or per-hour charge. Read the creator's pricing carefully before paying.

Can I watch on my phone?

Yes. Open your phone browser and go to the channel page. You will need a mobile wallet app — Coinbase Wallet or MetaMask Mobile — installed on your phone to connect and pay. For the best mobile experience we recommend using Coinbase Base Wallet on iOS or Android.

Why can't I access a channel in my country?

Some channels are marked by creators as containing adult content. Dick.com geo-blocks adult content channels in countries where such content is prohibited by local law. If you see a Content Unavailable message, it means access to that specific channel is restricted in your region. Non-adult channels are available in all countries without restriction.

Payments & Wallets

Where does my payment go?

Your payment goes directly from your wallet to the creator's wallet via the x402 protocol on the Base blockchain. Dick.com is never in the transaction. We do not hold, process, custody, or touch your funds at any time. The payment settles on-chain in under 2 seconds.

What are the fees?

Dick.com charges zero platform fees. The only cost beyond the creator's access price is the Base network gas fee, which is typically less than $0.01 per transaction. 100% of what you pay goes directly to the creator.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payments use ERC-3009 transferWithAuthorization — a cryptographic standard built into USDC on Base. You sign a payment authorization with your private key, which is verified on-chain. No one can redirect your payment or change the amount without your signature. Dick.com never has access to your wallet or private keys.

What happens if my payment fails?

If a payment fails your USDC stays in your wallet — nothing is charged. Common causes of failure include:
  • Insufficient USDC balance in your wallet
  • Wrong network selected — make sure you are on Base network
  • Expired payment authorization — refresh the page and try again quickly after approving
  • Previously used payment nonce — go to MetaMask Settings → Advanced → Clear activity data, then try again
  • Paying to your own wallet — you cannot pay yourself

Why does my wallet ask me to confirm a TransferWithAuthorization?

This is the technical name for the USDC payment signature used by the x402 protocol. It authorizes a specific USDC amount to transfer directly to the creator's wallet. It is a secure, standard method — you are not approving unlimited spending and the authorization expires within 5 minutes if not used.

Which wallets are supported?

Dick.com supports any wallet that can connect via WalletConnect or as a browser extension. This includes MetaMask, Coinbase Base Wallet, Rainbow, Trust Wallet, and over 300 others. For the best experience and fewest friction points we recommend MetaMask or Coinbase Base Wallet.

For Creators

How do I create a channel on Dick.com?

Go to dick.com/signup. Choose your channel name, enter your email and password, check the box agreeing to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and click Claim Your Channel. Your channel is created instantly at dick.com/yourname. You will receive a welcome email with your stream key and full setup instructions. There is also an interactive tutorial available in your dashboard — click ▶ How to Stream for a step-by-step walkthrough.

Is it free to create a channel?

Yes. Creating a channel on Dick.com is completely free. There are no monthly fees, no setup fees, and no revenue share. Dick.com takes zero percentage of your earnings — ever.

Can I change my channel name after signup?

No. Channel names are permanent and cannot be changed after creation. Choose your channel name carefully before signing up. If you need a different channel name you must delete your existing channel and create a new account with a different email address.

Can I have more than one channel?

Each email address can only be associated with one channel. If you want a second channel you must use a different email address to sign up.

How do I receive payments from viewers?

In your creator dashboard at dick.com/dashboard, paste your crypto wallet address in the Wallet Address field and click Save Settings. All viewer payments are sent directly to that address on Base blockchain instantly when viewers pay to watch.

What wallet should I use to receive payments?

Any wallet that supports Base network and USDC will work. We strongly recommend using a Coinbase Smart Wallet address — available free at wallet.coinbase.com. Smart Wallets are verified on-chain and recognized as trusted by most viewer wallets, which significantly reduces security warnings your viewers may see when paying.

How do I set my price?

Log into your dashboard at dick.com/dashboard. Set your price in the Price (USDC) field and choose your pricing model:
  • Free ($0.00) — anyone can watch without connecting a wallet or paying. Viewer count is still tracked.
  • Flat fee — one payment gives access to the entire stream session
  • Per minute — viewers pay for each minute watched
  • Per 15 minutes — viewers pay per 15-minute block
  • Per hour — viewers pay per hour
You can change your price at any time, even between streams. Changes take effect immediately.

Can I add a message for when I am not streaming?

Yes. In your dashboard fill in the Offline Message field with a message for viewers who visit when you are not live — for example, details about your content or what viewers can expect. You can also add your Next Broadcast Time which is displayed prominently on your channel page so viewers know when to return.

Can I add my social media links to my channel page?

Yes. In your dashboard you can add a contact email address, Twitter/X URL, Instagram URL, and YouTube URL. These appear on your channel page so viewers can reach you or follow you on other platforms. This is especially useful for viewers who have questions about payments or stream issues.

How do I log in to my creator dashboard?

Go to dick.com/dashboard and enter your email and password. If you forgot your password click Forgot password? and a reset link will be sent to your registered email address within a few minutes.

Is there a tutorial for setting up my stream?

Yes. In your creator dashboard click the ▶ How to Stream button for an interactive step-by-step walkthrough covering account setup, wallet configuration, pricing, OBS setup, and going live.

Streaming Setup

What software do I use to stream?

You can stream using any software that supports RTMP output. We recommend:
  • OBS Studio — free, open source, industry standard. Download at obsproject.com.
  • Streamlabs — free, beginner-friendly version of OBS.
  • Any RTMP-compatible app — including mobile apps like Larix Broadcaster for iOS and Android.

How do I configure OBS to stream on Dick.com?

In OBS go to Settings → Stream and enter:
  • Service: Custom
  • Server: rtmps://live.cloudflare.com:443/live/
  • Stream Key: Your stream key from your Dick.com dashboard
Click Apply, then Start Streaming. Your channel page will automatically show the Live Now badge within 30 seconds.

Where do I find my stream key?

Log into your dashboard at dick.com/dashboard. Your stream key is displayed in the Your Stream Key section at the top of the page. Keep this key private — anyone with your stream key can broadcast to your channel.

What video quality settings should I use in OBS?

We recommend these OBS settings for best performance with Cloudflare Stream:
  • Encoder: x264 Software (Hardware H.264 can cause issues)
  • Bitrate: 2500–6000 Kbps depending on your upload speed
  • Resolution: 1920×1080 or 1280×720
  • Frame rate: 30 fps recommended

How does Dick.com know when I go live?

Dick.com automatically detects when you start and stop streaming via Cloudflare Stream webhooks. Within 30 seconds of you starting OBS, your channel page shows the Live Now badge. When you stop streaming in OBS your channel automatically returns to offline status within 30 seconds. No manual action required.

Is there a maximum stream length?

Yes. Each stream session has a maximum length of 4 hours (240 minutes). After 4 hours the stream will automatically disconnect. You can start a new stream immediately afterward.

Will my streams be recorded and saved?

No. Dick.com does not record or store your streams. Video is delivered live to viewers and is not saved anywhere after the stream ends. If you want a local recording of your stream you can enable local recording inside OBS before you go live.

Can I stream to Dick.com and YouTube at the same time?

Yes — this is one of the most powerful strategies available to Dick.com creators. Using OBS Studio you can stream to both YouTube and Dick.com simultaneously. Here's how it works:
  • YouTube — your free public stream builds your subscriber base, gets discovered via YouTube's algorithm, and reaches your existing audience
  • Dick.com — your paid premium stream delivers exclusive content, unfiltered conversations, extended Q&A, or bonus material that viewers pay for directly via USDC
To set up multistreaming in OBS, install the obs-multi-rtmp plugin (free, open source). Add your YouTube stream key and your Dick.com stream key as separate outputs. Both streams run simultaneously from a single OBS session. Your YouTube audience watches free while your Dick.com audience pays directly to your wallet with zero platform fees.

Can I stream to Dick.com and TikTok at the same time?

Yes — the same multistreaming approach works with TikTok Live. Using OBS with the obs-multi-rtmp plugin you can stream to TikTok and Dick.com simultaneously. TikTok's massive discovery algorithm brings new viewers to your free stream, while your most engaged fans pay for the premium experience on Dick.com. Note that TikTok's terms of service regarding simultaneous streaming vary and should be reviewed before setting up. Many creators multistream successfully across platforms without issue.

What is the best content strategy for multistreaming?

The most effective approach is to use free social platforms as your audience funnel and Dick.com as your monetization layer:
  • Free on YouTube/TikTok — the edited, algorithm-friendly version of your content. Builds your audience and drives discovery.
  • Paid on Dick.com — the full uncut version, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, extended Q&A, uncensored conversations, or premium access that your most loyal fans pay for directly.
Example: A creator streams a 30-minute highlight reel free on YouTube while Dick.com viewers get the full 2-hour unfiltered session for $5 paid directly to the creator's wallet. YouTube builds the audience. Dick.com pays the bills. No middleman. No revenue share. No censorship.

How do I set up OBS for multistreaming to Dick.com and YouTube or TikTok?

Follow these steps to stream to multiple platforms simultaneously:
  • Step 1 — Download and install OBS Studio free at obsproject.com
  • Step 2 — Install the obs-multi-rtmp plugin: go to github.com/sorayuki/obs-multi-rtmp and download the latest release for your operating system
  • Step 3 — In OBS go to Tools → Multiple Output and add your first destination: Dick.com. Set Server to rtmps://live.cloudflare.com:443/live/ and Stream Key to your Dick.com stream key from your dashboard
  • Step 4 — Add your second destination: YouTube or TikTok. Enter the stream key from your YouTube Studio or TikTok Live settings
  • Step 5 — Click Start All in the Multiple Output panel. Both streams go live simultaneously
Make sure your internet upload speed is sufficient for two simultaneous streams. We recommend at least 10 Mbps upload for reliable dual streaming at 1080p.

Stats & Analytics

Can I see how much I have earned on Dick.com?

Yes. Your creator dashboard shows three real-time stats at the top of the page:
  • Total Earned — the total USDC amount paid by all viewers across all streams
  • Total Viewers — the total number of individual viewer payment sessions
  • Total Stream Time — the total time you have spent streaming live
Stats update automatically every 30 seconds. You can also click the ↻ Refresh Stats button to update them instantly at any time.

Why do my stats show zero when I have streamed and received payments?

Stats are tracked from the moment you set up your channel. If you streamed or received payments before the stats system was active, those events may not be reflected. All new streams and payments are tracked automatically going forward. If you believe there is a discrepancy contact support@dick.com.

Does Dick.com track individual viewer information?

No. Dick.com does not collect names, emails, or personal information from viewers. The only viewer data recorded is the public wallet address used to make a payment and the payment amount — both of which are already public information on the Base blockchain. Viewer privacy is a core principle of the platform.

Can I see my stats as an admin?

Yes. If you have admin access, go to dick.com/admin and log in with your admin key. The admin dashboard shows all creator activity across the platform including total earnings, total viewers, and total stream time for each creator. You can sort by top earners, most viewers, or most streamed.

Pricing & Payouts

When do I receive my payments?

Instantly. Every time a viewer pays to watch your stream the USDC is transferred directly to your wallet on the Base blockchain. There is no payout schedule, no minimum threshold, and no waiting period. The money is in your wallet within seconds of each payment.

Does Dick.com take a percentage of my earnings?

No. Dick.com takes zero percent of your earnings. 100% of what viewers pay goes directly to your wallet. Compare this to Twitch (50%), YouTube (30%), and OnlyFans (20%) which all take significant cuts of creator revenue.

What currency are payments in?

All payments are made in USDC — a stablecoin pegged to the US Dollar. 1 USDC = $1.00 USD. There is no cryptocurrency price volatility risk. What you charge is what you receive.

Can I change my price between streams?

You can update your price and pricing model at any time in your dashboard. Changes take effect immediately for new viewers. Set your price to $0.00 at any time to make your stream free to watch.

Do I need to pay taxes on my earnings?

Dick.com does not provide tax advice. Earnings in USDC may be subject to income tax depending on your country of residence. We recommend consulting a tax professional familiar with cryptocurrency income in your jurisdiction.

Adult Content

Can I stream adult content on Dick.com?

Yes, subject to strict conditions. Creators who intend to stream adult content must:
  • Check the Adult Content checkbox in their creator dashboard
  • Confirm they will comply with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction
  • Accept full legal responsibility for all content they stream
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Ensure all participants in their content are at least 18 years of age
Dick.com is not responsible for any content streamed by creators. Violation of our Terms of Service regarding adult content will result in immediate account termination.

What content is strictly prohibited regardless of the adult content setting?

The following content is absolutely prohibited on Dick.com under any circumstances and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement:
  • Any content involving minors in a sexual context
  • Non-consensual content of any kind
  • Content that is illegal in the United States
  • Content depicting violence in a sexual context without consent
Dick.com has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any such content will be immediately reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities.

How do I mark my channel as adult content?

Log into your dashboard at dick.com/dashboard. Scroll to the Adult Content section, check the checkbox confirming your content is intended for viewers 18 and older, and click Save Settings. Your channel page will immediately activate the age verification gate for all viewers.

What happens when a viewer visits an adult content channel?

Viewers are shown a full-screen age verification gate before they can see any channel content. They must confirm they are at least 18 years old and that viewing adult content is legal in their jurisdiction. If they confirm, the gate clears and they can proceed to watch. If they click Leave they are returned to the previous page.

Which countries are blocked from viewing adult content channels?

Adult content channels are geo-blocked in countries where such content is prohibited or heavily restricted by local law, including China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and North Korea. Viewers in these countries will see a Content Unavailable message when attempting to access an adult content channel. Non-adult channels are not affected by geo-blocking.

As a viewer, why do I see an age verification screen on some channels?

The creator of that channel has marked their content as adult content intended for viewers 18 years of age or older. The age verification gate is required before you can access the channel. You must confirm your age and that it is legal to view such content in your location before proceeding.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Go to dick.com/upgrade, select your plan, connect your wallet, and pay in USDC. Your plan activates instantly. You can also click the ↑ Upgrade Plan button in your creator dashboard.

Do unused streaming minutes carry over to the next week?

No. Weekly streaming minutes reset every Monday and do not carry over. Plan your streaming schedule accordingly. If you consistently hit your weekly limit, consider upgrading to a higher tier.

How are subscriptions renewed?

Dick.com subscriptions are not automatically renewed. Before your subscription expires you will receive a reminder email. You can renew by visiting dick.com/upgrade and paying for another period in USDC. If your subscription expires your channel returns to Basic Dick limits automatically.

Is there a discount for annual subscriptions?

Yes — annual subscriptions save approximately 17% compared to paying monthly (equivalent to getting about 2 months free). Premium Dick annual is $290 (vs $348 monthly), Pro Dick annual is $790 (vs $948 monthly), and Enterprise Dick annual is $2,990 (vs $3,588 monthly).

Can I get a refund if I upgrade and change my mind?

All subscription payments are made in USDC on the Base blockchain and are final and non-refundable. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. Please review the plan details carefully before upgrading. You can always start with Basic Dick for free before committing to a paid plan.

How do I delete my Dick.com account?

You can delete your account at any time directly from your creator dashboard. Log into dick.com/dashboard, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Delete My Account. You will be asked to confirm twice before deletion proceeds. Deleting your account permanently removes:
  • Your channel page at dick.com/yourname
  • Your account login and password
  • All channel settings, stats, and stream history
  • Your subscription if active
What is not affected: Any USDC already received in your wallet is completely unaffected. Those funds are in your own wallet and were never held by Dick.com. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed or removed. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you would like to return to Dick.com in the future, you can create a new account at dick.com/signup — however your previous channel name may no longer be available. If you are having trouble deleting your account or would prefer us to do it for you, contact support@dick.com.

Technical

What is the x402 protocol?

x402 is an open payment standard developed by Coinbase that enables instant stablecoin payments directly over HTTP. When you request access to a stream, the server returns an HTTP 402 Payment Required response — a status code that has existed since 1997 but was never used until Coinbase built x402 in 2025. Your wallet automatically handles the payment and the stream unlocks in under 2 seconds. Learn more at x402.org.

Which blockchain does Dick.com use?

Dick.com uses Base — a Layer 2 blockchain built by Coinbase on top of Ethereum. Base offers fast transactions (under 2 seconds) and very low fees (typically under $0.01). All payments are made in USDC on the Base network.

How does the live streaming infrastructure work?

Dick.com uses Cloudflare Stream for video delivery. When a creator streams via OBS, the video is sent via RTMP to Cloudflare's global network of servers. Cloudflare converts it to HLS format and delivers it to viewers worldwide with minimal latency. Cloudflare also sends automatic webhook notifications to Dick.com when streams start and stop, which is how the Live Now badge updates automatically.

Is Dick.com open source?

Dick.com is built on open source technologies including Next.js, the x402 protocol, and Cloudflare Stream. The x402 protocol itself is fully open source at github.com/coinbase/x402.

Can creators use a custom domain?

Custom domain support — where viewers go to yourshow.com and land on your Dick.com channel — is available now via simple DNS forwarding with any domain registrar. Point your domain to dick.com/yourname and it will work immediately. Full white-label custom domain hosting is coming in a future update.

What happens if Dick.com has technical issues?

Dick.com is hosted on Vercel's global infrastructure with automatic failover. Video delivery is handled by Cloudflare, one of the world's largest CDN networks. While we strive for maximum uptime, technical issues can occasionally occur. Dick.com is not liable for stream interruptions or technical failures as outlined in our Terms of Service. For urgent issues contact support@dick.com.
