Payment is Verified on the Blockchain
The signed authorization is verified against the USDC smart contract on the Base blockchain. The blockchain confirms the viewer has sufficient funds and that the signature is valid. This verification is trustless — no company, including Dick.com, can approve or deny it.
USDC Transfers Directly to Your Wallet
Once verified, USDC transfers from the viewer's wallet to your wallet. This happens on-chain in under 2 seconds. Dick.com receives no funds, holds no funds, and has no access to the transaction.
